Awareness is where change begins; integration is where it lasts.
Meet Roz, a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT #134886) supporting adults navigating anxiety, identity, and relationships through life’s transitions
True healing begins beneath the surface.
Our symptoms often speak the language of protection; patterns formed to keep us safe, even when they no longer serve us. My work is rooted in helping you slow down enough to understand these parts of yourself with compassion, so real and lasting change can take root.
Who I am
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #134886) and the founder of Mental Wealth LA. My background spans residential and outpatient treatment centers, college mental health services, and private practice, allowing me to integrate both depth and practicality in how I approach this work.
My curiosity has always been the driving force behind my training — both formal and experiential.
I’ve never been interested in simply gathering tools; I’ve been driven to understand people, patterns, and the deeper “why” beneath emotional pain. That curiosity shapes how I listen, how I ask questions, and how I help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve lost touch with along the way.
How I work
My approach is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in curiosity. I draw from EMDR, somatic awareness, and depth-oriented therapy to explore how past experiences live in the present — through your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system.
This work tends to resonate most with adults who are curious about themselves and open to looking beneath the surface. People who want to understand why certain patterns keep showing up in order to loosen their grip and create meaningful change. We work collaboratively, with attention to both insight and the nervous system, so what you understand intellectually can actually translate into how you live and relate.
My approach
My approach is collaborative and grounded in deep curiosity about your inner world. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, we spend time understanding the patterns, beliefs, and nervous-system responses that have shaped how you move through life.
I draw from depth-oriented therapy, EMDR, and somatic awareness to help connect the dots between past experiences and present challenges — not to relive the past, but to loosen its hold. Sessions are reflective, relational, and responsive to what you bring in each week. Together, we work toward greater clarity, balance, and more intentional choice in how you live and relate.
