True healing begins beneath the surface.

Our symptoms often speak the language of protection; patterns formed to keep us safe, even when they no longer serve us. My work is rooted in helping you slow down enough to understand these parts of yourself with compassion, so real and lasting change can take root.

Who I am

I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT #134886) and the founder of Mental Wealth LA. My background spans residential and outpatient treatment centers, college mental health services, and private practice, allowing me to integrate both depth and practicality in how I approach this work.

My curiosity has always been the driving force behind my training — both formal and experiential.

I’ve never been interested in simply gathering tools; I’ve been driven to understand people, patterns, and the deeper “why” beneath emotional pain. That curiosity shapes how I listen, how I ask questions, and how I help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve lost touch with along the way.

How I work

My approach is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in curiosity. I draw from EMDR, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed depth work to explore how past experiences live in the present—through your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system.

This work isn’t about managing symptoms alone.
It’s about understanding the roots of your struggles, tending to the parts of you that have been working hard to protect you, and integrating that awareness into meaningful, lasting change.

What You Can Expect From Sessions:

  • A grounded, collaborative environment; no pressure, no judgment.

  • Space to slow down and make sense of what’s happening inside.

  • A blend of insight, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed tools.

  • Exploration of the patterns shaping your emotions and relationships.

  • Practical integration: small shifts that build into lasting change.

My approach

My work combines evidence-based therapy with deep nervous-system attunement.

What does that mean for you?

It means therapy with me goes beyond learning tools — it’s about cultivating awareness and connection with the parts of you that may have been buried under stress, pressure, or survival mode.

I integrate psychodynamic therapy, nervous-system education, trauma-informed care, and reflective exploration to support your process of understanding and integration.

In simple terms: together we explore what’s underneath the surface and gently stay with what arises, allowing space for your system to find regulation and balance at its own pace.

This process can look different each session; sometimes it’s insight-oriented and emotional, other times reflective, light, or creative. Each moment has meaning; all of it is part of the work.
