Meet The Therapist

True healing begins beneath the surface; symptoms are signals, and long-held patterns are trying to protect something tender and vulnerable. My work is rooted in the belief that when we slow down enough to understand the parts of us shaped by past experiences, real and lasting change becomes possible.
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a B.A. in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. My background includes years of experience ranging from residential and outpatient treatment centers, college mental health services, community-based work, and private practice settings, enabling me to approach clients from multiple perspectives and frameworks.
In our work together, we slow down enough to address what feels most urgent, whether that’s finding clarity, managing anxiety, breaking patterns in relationships, or getting unstuck in some area of life.
My approach is integrative and tailored to each person’s unique story and needs. I draw from depth-oriented therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic awareness, and I work from a trauma-informed lens—understanding how past experiences can shape present patterns. I view therapy as a collaborative process: we focus on what feels most urgent for you now, while also addressing the underlying causes that perpetuate certain struggles.
My approach
My work combines evidence-based therapy with deep nervous system attunement.
What does that mean for you?
It means I won’t just give you tools.
I’ll help you access the part of you that already knows — but has been buried under stress, pressure, or survival mode.
I use a combination of psychodynamic therapy, nervous system education, trauma-informed care, and deep reflection.
In simple terms: I help you get to the root. And I help you stay with it and move through it gently, so your system can finally reset.
We intentionally move through this process while incorporating motivation and inspiration. In some sessions, we may make breakthroughs and cry; in others, we might laugh and discuss your passions. Both are valuable. Both are part of doing the work.
We might be a good fit if…
You’re curious about yourself and want to understand your patterns.
You’re looking for more than surface-level coping; you want real, lasting healing.
You feel called to grow your self-awareness and live with more clarity.
You’re open to practicing what you learn in therapy in your everyday life.
You’re ready to release the weight of the past while also creating the future you envision.
Mental health isn’t just the absence of disorder. It’s the presence of self-awareness, connection, and internal balance.
